What is a sewer camera inspection?

A sewer camera inspection is a non-invasive way to investigate the source of your plumbing problem. Using the latest technology, we can catch deeper plumbing issues and eliminate small chronic issues.

What are some signs I may need sewer repair?

When you notice these signs you may need to consider giving us a call for a free estimate. These signs include:

  • Bad odors are coming from your drains

  • Your drains make unusual noises when draining

  • Drains are emptying slower than usual

  • Your toilet and other pipes are frequently clogged

  • Sewage backs up into your sinks and other drains

  • You notice wet spots or uncommonly green spots in your yard

  • You smell sewage in your yard or around your home

What are some causes of sewer problems?

Many issues can not be seen on the surface but can often be determined by sewer camera inspections. These include but are not limited to:

  • Root blockages

  • Cracks in pipes

  • Punctures in your pipes

  • Corrosion

  • Uneven or misaligned pipes

  • Excessive grease build-up

  • Hidden leaks

  • Other obstructions

What are some options for repairing sewer problems?

Three main options when you need a drain or sewer line fixed are:

  • Full sewer line replacement – This involves excavating your old sewer line completely and replacing it with a new one.
  • Spot repairs – This involves repairing just a small spot on your sewer line but isn’t always feasible.

What is Septic Abandonment?

If you are installing a new sewage treatment system or connecting a sanitary sewer you will need to have your current system properly abandoned. Many municipalities are requiring homeowners to abandon septic systems and install a new lateral sewer line from the house to the street. At TK, we understand this is a significant burden. We promise to provide the best value and most professional service.
